GCE O'Level Results 2011 |
The Cedar family would like to congratulate the 2011 Secondary 4
cohort for doing Cedar Girls proud.
About one-fifth of our students achieved perfect scores of 6 points
and another one-fifth received 7 points in L1R5.
In all, 77.2% had at least 10 points for L1R5.
The school would like to also thank parents and teachers for their
support and dedication in nurturing all Cedarians.

Continued Good Performance at the 'O' Levels |
 
Cedar Girls' continues to do well at the GCE 'O' level examinations! Its excellent track record continues with the latest cohort achieving an average L1R5 of 9.4 and L1B5 of 9.2. This is the second best in Cedar's 53-year history.
The school is also pleased to report that 100% of the girls qualified for a junior college education. 42.5% of the girls received 7 or more distinctions, including Mother Tongue. Out of a cohort of 315 girls, 217 of them achieved L1R5 raw scores of 10 or less. Congratulations to all our girls for their outstanding results!
Cedar's top pupil this year is Wu Fangling of Sec 4A. She obtained a perfect score of 9 A1s offered at one sitting. She also scored an A1 for Chinese Language at the end of her Sec 3 year in 2009, making it a total of 10 A1s.

Celebrating Commendable O-level results at the New Cedar Campus |
Cedar Girls’ celebrates as it lives up to its reputation by turning in yet another set of excellent results from last year’s GCE ‘O’ level examinations. About half of our girls received 7 or more distinctions, including Mother Tongue. 50 girls achieved a perfect L1R5 score of 6. 72% of the Class of 2009 obtained a raw L1R5 score of 10 or less, enabling them to be admitted into the Top 5 junior colleges.
“Our girls have lived up to our expectations and performed to the best of their ability,” said Mrs Ou Yang Geok Cheng, the Principal.
